How to Cover Forehead Fine Lines

Wednesday, August 15, 2018 10:05:08 AM Europe/London

Hello, I recently found your site and it looks like a great resource. I’m completely new to makeup, the only products I generally use are an anti ageing moisturiser from Bulldog and Lab series B.B. cream. I think my skin is in quite good shape, however, at the age of 46 I do have some lines on my forehead. I don’t think these are really deep but they are noticeable.

Five Minute Summer Male Makeup Routine

Tuesday, July 24, 2018 1:32:49 PM Europe/London

With the sun blaring down, I know the last thing I want to be doing is stuck indoors applying makeup product after product - I’d rather be outside by the pool. With the sticky conditions too and my skin having a natural tendency to look shiny, to be quite honest, applying what feels like a tonne of makeup to my face isn’t really that appealing. That’s why I’ve decided to strip back my entire cosmetic routine over these warm summer months and have developed a quick and easy five minute male makeup routine that any man can follow.

Men’s Makeup For Red Cheeks

Wednesday, July 18, 2018 6:51:35 AM Europe/London

Hi there, I have used Menaji light powder for years and am looking at alternatives. I like the slight colour and healthy complexion it gives though. I’ve seen two products of interest, Translucent pressed powder (invisible) and your colourless anti shine powder. The translucent powder says invisible but it requires you to choose your skin colour and the product is coloured. Is it actually ‘invisible’? How so?

A Male Makeup Routine For Beginners

Sunday, May 20, 2018 4:20:15 PM Europe/London

Hi Lucy, Thanks so much for your speedy response. As a novice in all this, I am guided by your professional assessment. I’m just curious how the products you suggest work with an after shave moisturizer that I use. Other than that I am ready to try the products you suggest. I would hope that they come with some instructions concerning use. It seems that one should have some idea of how and what they are applying and when.

I Suffer With Breakouts - What Makeup For Men Should I Use?

Monday, May 7, 2018 8:51:40 PM Europe/London

Hello, I would like some advice on the correct product range for myself. Unfortunately, I have a fairly bad skin, acne scars, dark spots and I’m still struggling with ongoing breakouts (at 28 years of age). I have never used make-up before, but considering giving it a try for some extra confidence boost and would like something that would enable me to cover up my skin imperfections to a moderate level. The main concern in regards of foundation / concealer / powders is that ‘m afraid to clog my pores even more resulting in additional breakouts which is completely undesirable result. Also, I don’t take heat very well, so I’m worried that during the hot summer days I would look like a melted candle J. I was looking into primer / foundation / concealer / powder / setting spray combinations.

What Men’s Makeup Do I Apply If I Have Oily Skin?

Tuesday, March 27, 2018 5:21:29 AM Europe/London

Hi lucy thank you for your reply, i would love a little advice if you don’t mind. I’m only just realising that “mens make up” is a thing, I’ve been using a Max Factor or Rimell liquid foundation but have always felt self conscious that someone is noticing that i’m wearing it.

I wouldn’t say my skin is terrible, just the fact that it looks a little red, blotchy and have a few blemishes from when i had acne as a teenager, so i’ve never wanted to get a foundation to flat out cover it but just to ease the colour of my skin.

How to get a Matte Finish Male Makeup Look

Wednesday, March 7, 2018 11:42:00 AM Europe/London

Good Morning, I am very interested in trying the MMUK Man Concealer and the rest of the MMUK Man range but I do not know which shade will match my skin tone. I have never used make up before, I do not know where to start and what to finish with. After lots of thinking, I’ve decided to push the boundaries in order to enhance my appearance. If it is possible ,would you be able to decide which shade/products will be suited best based on the three pictures that I have attached. I am after a natural, matte look that is 100% undetectable. Many Thanks.

Skincare Tips for Men with Combination Skin

Tuesday, February 27, 2018 11:46:53 AM Europe/London

Despite being the most popular skin type, combination skin is often the most difficult to conquer, when trying to piece together a successful men’s skin care routine. The main reason for this is that there are so many products on the men’s grooming market that are targeted for specific minority skin types and those with Combination Skin have free reign to build a skin care regime with what’s left. If your skin tends to be oily and shiny on your forehead and nose and dry in other areas of your face - you have combination skin.

GUEST POST: Building A Makeup Routine From Scratch

Tuesday, February 6, 2018 12:42:00 PM Europe/London

I’m just a regular guy, in my very very very early 30’s (if anyone asks; I’m 23) living in London with my husband, working in an office… I have given my opinions and advice to many of my straight male friends and like to think of myself as someone who helps bridge the gap between my gal-pals and their fellas! My views and opinions are my own; I’m not a trained beautician, makeup-artist, nutritionist or Doctor… but here is what I’ve got to say about things….

How To Cover Up Thread Veins

Thursday, February 1, 2018 4:07:38 PM Europe/London

Hiya apologies in advance for the dodgy looking photos lol. I found your website on google and I have read your article on “James” and I wondered about giving this a go.

I have been spending a lot of money of thread vein removal treatments and although it has worked on some I still have some left and it’s not a completely pleasant experience so I wondered instead about makeup because I’m told they can always return anyway even after spending hundreds of pounds on this...
